JUST BE

YOURSELF

80% of communication is nonverbal, and yet most people only use 20% of their wardrobes. In a world of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Match, your image is a powerful tool - and you must make sure you are using the correct tool for the job at hand.

It is not just a matter of fashion. In each of our lives, we encounter situations in which people do not have a lifetime to get to know us - interviews, dates, conferences, PTA meetings, and sales pitches all only allow you a finite amount of time to communicate your values. My mission is to take a whole-person approach to your style and a whole-lifestyle approach to your closet, making you one mean, efficient, making-the-right-impression machine.

Remember when Mom and Dad used to say that all you needed to do to succeed is "just be yourself"? It turns out they were on to something after all! Exuding your unique brand of authentic awesomeness always draws in like-minded people - everyone from suitors to investors to collaborators. Communicate who you are; communicate what you want.

We all know an image is worth 1,000 words... what have your 1,000 words been asking for behind your back?

ABOUT

RACHEL

Rachel "Rae" Klewicki is a Personal Stylist based out of the West Los Angeles and South Bay areas. Her biggest passion is helping her clients feel comfortable, confident, and appropriate in all settings.

A lifelong fan of the arts, she grew up in Southern California splitting her time between her dad's rock music stash, the library's Sci-Fi/Fantasy wing, and the local vintage/thrift stores. She later graduated UCLA's Department of Arts and Cultures where she studied Ethnography and identity construction. This background helps her create custom looks for each and every client - based as much on personality as body shape and coloring. Rachel firmly believes that style is not fundamentally about fashion; it is about using trends to articulate your own values and interests.

Professionaly, Rachel's experience ranges from the playful realm of Fashion to the corporate sphere of executive banking offices, leaving her fluent in a myriad of differently nuanced dress codes. In short, she knows what The Successful People wear in real life - not just movies and magazines. She also makes it a point of pride to shop within any budget.

When she is not styling, she enjoys hunting for deals at flea markets and TJ Maxx, re-watching Firefly and Gilmore Girls, biking along the beach, and lazing about the house with her husband and three cats.
